After an abnormally dry fall and winter we got pounded this weekend. I have barely left the house…It’s just too much. So far this weekend I’ve watched “Searching for Sugarman”, “It’s kind of a funny story”, “Lincoln”, “This is the end” and “Ruby Sparks”. I’ve also played some guitar and bass, and played a game on the Xbox.
Is now bored!!! Book and/or Nap!

On the Piemonte trip…

The original reason for the season…

I still have about 4 weeks of vacation this year (americans never know what to do with it). So I’m taking off from the 23rd to the 2nd. I may go somewhere or I may just sit at home and read for a week and a half. I was first thinking of going to Paris, but the prices jumped a bit in the past week or so. I am no longer thinking of going to Paris…
My poor planning is paying off once again 🙂 I suppose if I order an interail ticket tonight I could get it by Friday….ergghhhhhh

So I have internet again. Yay!

So to summarize the month. I moved into a new flat. I went to Piemonte for a 28 course fried dinner a few weeks ago. It ended up being all the cow bits that we don’t eat in the states. I’m always willing to try anything once…so, I had a bite of the following: brains, testicles, heart, penis, liver, intestines etc. You get the idea. I°ll take a bite of anything once. I don’t ever need to do it again.

That”s really all that has happened aside from the pain of moving.

The new flat is awesome! I”m right on the sea.
I bought a bass and an Xbox, and a chromecast. I”m fully supporting both Google and Microsoft in mz living room. If I”m ever feeling more eloquent I”ll get more into the whole living room and PC confluence. But as it”s Saturday afternoon I”m thinking it”s naptime!

The day Mussolini was killed is a holiday here…Went with friends somewhere near Siena for two nights.

I really don’t know where we were, so I included pics with roadsigns 🙂

I somehow picked up the name “google” at one of the pubs here. This is due to my lack of explaining skills related to my job…”Its like google earth for boats”…That somehow turned into “hey google”. This is like when I was “The Weatherman” for about 6 months in Frankfurt.

There are definitely worse nicknames to have I guess….
