raw oysters and goose liver…

so I didn’t make near as many entries about German food in 3 years as I have  in 1 year in Italia…

My friends seemed to be overly excited about oysters and foie gras…I don’t recall that I’ve ever had either. When they give me strange food and I don’t really like it, I usually just say “it’s allright”…which they’ve now learned means that I think the food is mediocre. This was the first time I actually got to say that I didn’t like something 😉
I’ll try most anything once, and I guess I’m a better person for having tried raw oysters and foie gras, but I will happily admit in the future that I don’t like either if I’m ever offered…

btw does anyone know if they still make deviled ham in the states? I used to love that as a kid…I wonder now if it was supposed to be imitation foie gras.
