Any human institution (or person) may be either good or evil or a mix of both. It depends on the peaple in charge and the definition of good or evil. Personal definitions of good or evil are not really helpful. They are only instuctive about the person making the definition. We must take God the Creator’s definition of good or evil. I think you should read a few books and or articles on the cartoon mentioned subjects; The Federal Reserve, The US Economy, US Unemployment, The Investor Class, Wall Street, The US Banking Industry, The History and Development of State and National Government in the US, Taxation and Government Spending, US Immigration-Legal and Illegal, and Personal World Views. Choose some from both the political and the Christian perspective. Filter it all through the Bible. I think you might then agree that the cartoons are a very narrow and not helpful commentary.
Thanks for the insult…”if only you were as enlightened as me you would see how narrow the commentary is”.
I’m sure you didn’t realize you meant it that way.
I don’t really have the patience, time or inclination to talk to religious folk, but since it’s you I guess I can take a minute…
1) Religion is/does more evil than good.
2) Being so economic focused (based on your recommendations) is not “christian”. After all jesus went around preaching against the rich, and giving out free food, wine and healthcare. Commie bastard that he was.
3) and since you threw in immigration feel free to read leviticus 19:33-34 and please enlighten me as to the Republicrat position…
(sigh)
Actually I’ve been amused for years as to the making of the republican party. The merging of the high and low versions right shouldn’t really work. I can only assume there are some non-intellectuals that are easily mislead in one of those groups.
