Thanks to ,,Vampire Weekend” for inspiring me to make an effort to learn what an oxford comma is…They’re so punk for bucking American English establishment.
They still only make me think of Paul Simon’s ,,Rhythm of the Saints” when listening to their album. To my well aged ears he would be their biggest single influence.

They are also to be commended for writing songs about things that are important to them…I’m feeling strangely empoweredinspiredidealistic, and stuff. Allow me to illustrate below:
