I guess it’s the patron saint of Massa day…I don’t really know what that means, but the office is closed due to catholic holiday…Cheers San Francesco! You rock!
I think I have my flat sorted. I’m signing a contract tomorrow and then move in November 1st…Luckily November 1st is also a holiday (day of the dead or something…I also don’t know what that means, but it’s catholic again) which means noone has any excuses for not helping me move 😉
Or at the very least here is your fair warning to come up with a legitimate excuse…
hmmm… I thought you’re American and you know the celebration of Halloween which is the eve of All Saints’ Day (in the Roman Catholic Church officially the Solemnity of All Saints and also called All Hallows or Hallowmas)
anyway… in Poland we visit cemeteries and light candles so in the evening it looks amazing especially when there is also snow (and very often is) and you wouldn’t make any Polish to help you that day 🙂
BTW Will you have a couch avaliable in the new apartment? 😉
I’m not american 😉
I do know of halloween tho. You go around and pick up candy from strangers.
I’ve heard of the cemetery tradition in Mexico and now I’m told in Italy as well. Sounds like fun. I think the mexicans do it best. Tequila and food amongst the dead ancestors. I can’t imagine anything better than mexican food in a cemetery 😀
Now I’m hungry…
I’ve got a couch 🙂
Next year I want to do the cemetery thing…
I’d loved to be at that time in Mexico!!!
But there’s a bigger chance to surf your couch 🙂
