Find an apartment in a country where you don’t speak the language is a pain.
My colleagues are really helpful. I sorta feel bad. They are treating me like a little brother or something. Really super nice!
Viva italia!
I’ve seen 3 places so far. Only one I really like and they want 6 months deposit, plus one month agency fee. I can’t pay 4,000 euros up front. That’s ridiculous. However I don’t really want to just settle. I want a nice place.
Appointment to see 2 more places tomorrow. Both are promising.
I was chatting with some colleagues about r/c stuff today (one for an r/c helicopter). I was telling them about all my and my dad’s r/c stuff – 6 months building, 10 minutes crashing ;).
Most of my memories have to do with crashing the planes :)Â Feeling nostalgic!
Working on a new model at this time. All the building has made me a better builder. If it is repairable, it is called a hard or eventful landing.
Why are you moving?
I know you’re a good builder and flier…I just vividly remember the crashes (reminds me of Coquille). The crashes and stunts were the coolest when I was 8yo 🙂
Or the time you lost contact with the plane and it just kept flying away from us….
As far as the moving – The place I’m in is a studio and really small. No real kitchen, which means I don’t cook much. I’d like to get a place with an oven so I can cook more. Also the location I’m in is great, but cuz it’s so close to the sea it’s really expensive for the size. I don’t mind the price, but I can basically go a few hundred meters in any direction and get something 50% bigger for the same price.
I looked at two places this morning, and one of them I really really like.
I have an appointment to see one more, and if it’s not better than the one I just looked at then I’m going to try to get in. So Hopefully problem solved. Unfortunately I have to front 2400€ the first month, which means I’m eating dirt for a whole month, but oh well. Life marches on! 🙂
CHECK email……smile……
