Daniele: The more I talk to you the more clever I realize you are.
Well that one made my day…so dinner at Leo’s. Great!!!
Came home about 12:30 and had to take out the bottles…It’s really hard to be quiet when you’re carrying 6 bags of bottles and have had a fair bit of wine…Shutting my door…pushing the elevator button…shhhhhh
So today at work we get an email about the company signing a new lease and so they are selling the 3 company cars for 300€ each…ummmmmm….The cars are about 10 years old so 300€ is not a bad deal. I put in my name for one of them. I assume if they have multiple people wanting a car they do a drawing or something…Tho this being Italy maybe it’s whoever slips the boss the most money 😉
Anyways…I may become a car owner again if I get lucky. That’s weird…
Enriqo gave me Godfather parts I, II, and III…I saw half the first one once upon a time…Not sure I should watch all 3 at the same time, but I guess I have a fallback for the weekend…
They probably have been well maintained.
I think so…though I did leave a small ding on one whilst attempting to parallel park (as one has to do in Italy)…
Actually, all cars here have to have an inspection every 2 years to make sure they are road worthy. If something is wrong it has to be fixed before the registration can be renewed. Same in Germany…I’m not sure if that’s a Europe wide rule.
In Japan engines have to be replaced at 35,000 miles. The used ones are shipped here to be resold.
It is good to be clever. I think it is wise to be prudent.
That’s exactly the type of comment that a non-native speaker would describe as “clever”. He just meant that he’s learning when I say something with a deadpan that there may be a double meaning, or a joke 🙂
