Last day to Budapest. My plan was for New Years and the 1st in Budapest then to Romania for a few days, but I just decided to stay in Budapest for a few days and relax since we had travelled so much the past few days…
Berger had to leave on the 1st, so I was alone the last few days. I do have to give Berger a medal for taking a VERY large bullet for the team on New Years eve 😉
Strangely, I met a couple girls who spoke German, but no English. My Deutsch came back in a hurry 😉

Looks cold and deserted
Ha! You’re right…I had to look at the pics again. Pretty cold and deserted. But first week of January is not prime time I guess. The hostel I was in was full for new years and then emptied out. I was the only guest for a few days. It was a great city. I prefer to travel in off peak times tho, so since I was alone, I was really alone…
