It’s apparently San Francesco (Saint Francesco) day…the patron saint of Massa (where the office is). As such we get a day off…I love this country!
I went off to Carrara in an attempt to buy shoes for the wedding this weekend (London), but they didn’t have my size for the ones I wanted. Now I need a nap.
eierlikör-inspired greetings from Frankfurt!
How ya doin?!?
happy holiday….

is that egg liqour??? I’m not going to look it up cuz I’ll only prove myself wrong and the thought of egg liqour makes me giggle…or is it eggnog? mmmmm
I’m doing great! I’ve been feeling pretty good the last few weeks!
I’ve never had…is it at that Native American place in Sachsenhausen? How is it different from tortillas or Indian flatbread?
HI SON< There is a native American (now called first nations here) place in Germany?????? Jackson laughed so hard he hurt….He is Cherokee you know….
We are having computer probs, buit will write you tonight afteer we harvest the cukumbers…..love ya….If we cant get thru because of the computer, have a safe trip to London…is it by ferry or plane.??? Beware and be careful….Alerts and all…..mom
eierlikör = egg liqueur (sans milk), since im allergic to milk…. hence the bad reaction to lactose free milk
eggnogg contains cream
frybread is a little pouffier and even tho they call it tortillas sometimes its quite different…
i think my place is the only native american place in ffm 😉
youre going by plane, arent ya?
tired… goodnight…
Hey,
Yes there used to be a Native American restuarant in Sachsenhausen. They were never open when I walked by, but I found some info online…

I looked in the window a few times…there were cowskins on the wall and I think the tables were really low…like you sat on the floor.
I won’t be staying anywhere posh in Englung so I should be OK (if it’s a Mumbai like attack they will target the posh places)…but I’ll put up my funeral wishes and will before I leave ;)…I said a few months ago that I would do that before I left…but then again…that was when I thought I would be driving over there. Luckily for all of us that won’t be the case 😉
bye the way, HI JULIA, hope you are well……joes mom
:DDD Hi Joe’s mum! aaawww shuks 😉 yes I am…. how are you doing?
I’m not very savy on computer, what is DD..? I am doing fine my husband was sick yesterday, so I was called out….gall stones I think….How many languages do you speak?? Is it hard to write in them also, or do you have an interpretor via the computer….Any way we are mostly good, but have too many cats,,,,do you want a kitten?????? or 10???? bye for now……mum
the DD is actually part of the smiley… it just doesnt display right on the computer … its supposed to be a laughing smiley … like hahaha …like a set of eyes and an open mouth… so the D is a laughing mouth and the : are the eyes… (coz its a little weird to meet parents on blogs…)
i speak english and french and all the european languages are kinda alike, so i can speak or at least understand most of them… that sounds pretentious… but i guess you can already tell by joes anecdotes that he sees the similarities of english and italian and sometimes german…. well i have a ton of dictionaries… but i grew up multilingual and i guess that helps a lot…
sadly im allergic to cats… otherwise i would love to take them all 🙂
gall stones hmmmm my mum once had surgery to have them taken out… good luck to ur husband… i heard that theres gall stones breaker tea or sth kinda like that… or just drink 5 cups of camomile tea daily….
back to languages: i took up chinese… its really hard… and i usually try to at least learn a couple of words in every language, be it turkish, greek, korean or whatever… i dont really have german friends… but most of my friends speak german…not lookin at u JOE!
