Rambling Man–Poetic, like the rythym, banjo adds a lot, wouldn’t like it without.
I actually thought Rambling Man wasn’t anywhere close to her best stuff, but sometimes youtube doesn’t let people embed the videos. There’s a lot more of her on YouTube and you may also like “Hurray for the Riff Raff”. Similar type stuff, but banjo in most every song 🙂
She (the singer in Hurray for the Riff raff) doesn’t really play the banjo in a typical style (actually she sorts of plays it like a guitar – fingerpicking chords I suppose – but considering the overall instrumentation of the band it works).
I may post some of their stuff when I get around to it…
