Is this the american habit of finding something positive to say in any situation 😉
The germans have a reputation of “speaking directly” because instead of saying something like “the Accordionist was good, but overall I didn’t like it”…they would just skip the nicety (sp) and say “I didn’t like it”…
In enjoying a song I prefer emotion, lyrics and melody (in that order) and I think hftrr has those things…of course there’s always more to it than that because I can find songs that are lacking in all three of those items that I still like.
in general tho I personally find instrument mastery kind of low on the list of things I listen for. I think the instrumentation is in service of the overall song, so is less important than other things.
Accordianist seems to have better mastery of his instrument than the other members.
