I found out that weihnachtsmarkt actually means something like ,,holy night”. I thought it was wine night. Silly me!!! I could really get behind a holiday called wine night…oh well. I shall continue to drink gluhwein and think of it was wine night…
the sweets at the ,,wine night market” are incredible. I’m getting fat…
speaking of getting fat…I finally got the bike I bought in March working. My secondary bike that had broken spokes was taken away by the German authorities when the wine night market was set up…Since the spokes were broken I wasn’t riding it and just left it locked up on a bike rack for about 3 weeks. They probably put up a sign that said something like ,,this bike rack will be removed on x date”, but since I was just leaving the bike sitting I didn’t notice the sign and so they just removed my bike and rack…anyways so I was forced to fix the new bike, and now it’s fixed…so I’m back to riding to work, but it’s bloody cold in the mornings…
Clinton and Claire are visiting from the UK.
It took us an hour and a half to walk home from Balalaika the other night…uhhh. yeah. an adventure no doubt…
